MP Tamar Charkviani held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Edīte Medne.

The parties highlighted the contribution of the Parliamentary Opposition in the fulfillment of the EU recommendations and overviewed the political situation and relevant issues in Georgia.

T. Charkviani informed the Ambassador about the condition of the third President, Mikheil Saakashvili.

“At the meeting, we discussed the granting of the EU candidate status to Georgia. I informed the Ambassador about the activity of the Opposition in this direction and dwelt on the condition of the third President of Georgia”, - T. Charkviani noted.
