Georgian MP Tamar Charkviani held an online meeting with the MEP Andrius Kubilius to discuss the political situation in Georgia and the EU membership issues.

“Mr. Kubilius is a good friend of Georgia. At the meeting, I described the current political situation in the country from the point of view of an opposition MP and informed the European politician about the health state of Mikheil Saakashvili underlining that the aggravation of the health state of this person will disgrace Georgia. I hope they will support the idea of the transportation of M. Saakashvili to a hospital for due medical care. I also pledged that Georgia will do everything in its power to be a dignified member of a Western world”, - she stated.
