The bilateral meetings of Sophio Katsarava within the visit to Germany

The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sophio Katsarava met with the Chair of the Foreign Committee of Bundestag, Norbert Röttgen and the Head of the Socio-Democratic Faction of the Committee, Nils Schmid, Political Director of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Jens Ploetner, Chair of the EU Affairs Sub-Committee, Head of the Bundestag Delegation to OSCE, Doris Barnett and the Head of the South Caucasus and Central Asia Department of German Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed Georgia-Germany friendly and partnership relations and progress of Georgia within the EaP. High level bilateral visits between the countries have been positively evaluated.

S. Katsarava introduced the details of the situation on the occupied territories of Georgia, grave humanitarian and human rights situation and importance of peaceful resolution of the conflict.
