The Member of Parliament, Gia Zhorzholiani introduced the visions of the Party “Social-Democrats for Development of Georgia” about the developments in the country stating that by dropping the draft Constitutional Law on the Proportional Elections, “Georgian Dream” has re-demonstrated its will to keep the political situation unchanged in the country.

“The impression is being formed deliberately that there are only two parties in Georgia – “Georgian Dream” and “National Movement” and if “Georgian Dream” is not re-elected, it will mean the return of the “National Movement” with its plans of revenge. This situation locks and impedes the healthy political discussion on development of the country”, - he stated.

The Party “Social-Democrats for Development of Georgia” supports the proportional elections and offered to the Parliament the alternative version, though the Majority rejected the offered model. According to him, his political party fights not only for maintenance of authority, change of authority or obtainment of the mandates in the Parliament but they strive to undertake the reforms to “in fact ensure development of the country”.

The main principles of the reform developed by the Party “Social-Democrats for Development of Georgia” will be introduced to the society in the Museum of Modern Arts on November 25.
