The Independent MP, Eka Beselia held the meeting with the Ambassador of Norway, H.E. Helene Sand Andresen initiated by the Ambassador to discuss the political processes in the country and the grounds of Beselia’s leaving the ruling party.

“The meeting was very interesting. We discussed the preceding period and the challenges, including the reason for my decision of leaving the ruling party. The greatest part of the meeting was dedicated to the ongoing political processes, elections and the pre-election process. We overviewed what we may change in the country, the best solution for Georgia to take us to the stable and politically peaceful phase.

I am pleased with the interest and support as it is particularly important now as we encounter the greatest threat of polarization at the Parliamentary elections and the risk of unequal conditions of the parties, especially the new parties or political forces”, - E. Beselia noted.
