The Vice-Speaker, Ilia Nakashidze held the introductory meeting with the Delegation of the Physicians of Georgian origin operating in Turkey and with the Chinese Doctors.

The Delegation of Physicians from Turkey is composed of the representatives of various medical spheres – the world-famous doctors. As noted, many of them enjoy the business relations with their historical homeland holding the treatment of the citizens or various projects, though they will enhance cooperation and contribute to development of Georgia.

“The meeting was very interesting with the professors of medicine of Georgian origin, many of which hold practice in Turkey and in Georgia cooperating with their Georgian colleagues. The meeting was introductory. We discussed future cooperation plans. As you know, the flow of the patients to Turkey has been recently increased and this process requires regulation”, - I. Nakashidze stated.

The meeting with the Chinese professors was of no less interest as they introduced their innovative proposals regarding traumatology and orthopedics.

Georgia offers good conditions for development of their business in this direction, the guests noted.

The meeting was attended by MPs: Koba Nakaidze, Giorgi Kopadze, Levan Bezhanidze, and the Member of Adjara AR Supreme Council, Ilia Verdzadze.
