The meeting of Irina Pruidze with the students of Samtskhe-Javakheti State University in Akhaltsikhe within public awareness campaign on open Parliament
Irina Pruidze, within the public awareness on open Parliament, met with the Samtskhe-Javakheti State University students in Akhatsikhe.
The meeting was attended by IDFI program director, Levan Avalishvili.
The public meetings serve for public awareness on Parliamentary openness, transparency and accountability, as well as civic engagement in the Parliamentary activity.
I. Pruidze introduced the open Parliament activity, achievements and action plan commitments. “Engagement of the youth and provision of the youth with the information is crucial for image of the Parliament and trust thereto. We have developed many new instruments for civic engagement in the Parliamentary activity and the society and the youth shall be informed”, - she noted.
The meeting was organized by the Parliament and supported by EU, UNDP and IDFI.
