The meeting of Sofio Katsarava with the German Delegation

The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sofio Katsarava continues the meetings with the representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of EaP and EU member states within the 14th international conference “Georgia’s European Way”.

Today, S. Katsarava met with the German MPs: Heinz-Joachim Barchmann and Christian Petry. The meeting was as well attended by the Deputy Chair, Nino Goguadze.

The parties discussed bilateral relations, EU and NATO integration of Georgia, situation on the occupied territories, Georgia relations with neighbors and current situation in the region.

S. Katsarava introduced the information about the reforms held and EUAA implementation. She underlined Georgia-Germany friendship anniversary in 2017. S. Katsarava thanked the German MPs for support of Germany to territorial integrity and sovereignty and EU and NATO aspiration of Georgia.

German MPs confirmed intact support of Germany to territorial integrity, sovereignty and EU integration of Georgia.

Today, S. Katsarava and the Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze participated in the meeting with the international expert and academic circle representatives and discussed Constitutional reform.

The 14th international conference “Georgia’s European Way – Ensuring Regional Stability” will be accomplished today.
