The meeting of the Head of the Speaker’s Cabinet, David Magradze with Interns and Trainees

D. Magradze spoke about functions and duties of the Cabinet and activity principles thereof. He noted that the Cabinet provides support to implementation of authorities of the Speaker, implying organizational, legal, documental, informational, analytical and material-technical service.
He spoke about activity of the Speaker and briefings, receptions, official and business visits, relations with international and local organizations. According to him, the Cabinet actively and productively cooperates with the Foreign Ministry.
D. Magradze touched upon the processes in the legislation and noted that despite of the challenges and problems, the Parliament is on the capacity building path, evidenced with more publicity thereof. In the end, D. Magradze answered the questions and wished success to interns and trainees, as well as expressed his commitment for cooperation.
The Parliament practices internship for 19 years. This year there are 24 interns actively involved in activity, attend Committee and Faction sittings, meet with the Committee and Faction Chairs, majority and minority leaders and MPs. Internship is organized by HR Department.
