The Majority leader serves the official visit to China and held the meeting with the Vice-President of Chinese Development Bank. He thanked the host for the recommendation on establishment of Georgian Development Bank and noted that Chinese experience will be shared.

The host side underlined importance of establishment of Georgian DB and expressed commitment to be involved in the process and render financial assistance to Georgia. The Vice-President expressed his readiness to become the advisory board member if necessary. He asked about large projects in Georgia and expressed commitment to finance the strategic projects such are port construction, infrastructural development, regional development and energy and oil producing etc. He during the last 5 years was one of the leaders of Asia Development Bank which held sundry successful projects in Georgia. Now CDB works on the project to finance the high-speed trains in Georgia. CDB was established in 1994 as the main fiscal institute of economic development of the country. The functions are implementation of large and medium strategic projects. The assets thereof on RBM in 2013 increased with 8.19 trillion yuan and profit was 79.9 bl. yuan (14 bl USD).
