Let me express my deepest condolences due to decease of the former President and the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Shimon Peres. Mr. Peres was an outstanding person, the wise politician indeed.

His merit is invaluable in development of modern politics, expressed in the Noble Prize. I had the honor to be personally acquainted with Mr. Peres. He was a devoted supporter of Georgia on the path of our independence and future achievements. His contribution in Georgia-Israeli friendly relations and in enhancement of Georgia-Israeli links lasting for 26 centuries is of utmost value.

The role of Shimon Peres is special and unique in the politics of the modern world. Granted with the skills of the rational and pragmatic approaches he had the talent of the greatest politician and a good person. Once again, I express my condolences to the family of Mr. Peres, to Israel and to our friend Israeli people.
