The Vice Speaker Ilia Nakashidze attending the public feast Colchis Day at Sarpi beach, which was for the first time celebrated in 1978 as “Kvaomkhazoba”.

Since 1979, it is celebrated as Colchis Day. Traditionally, the beach hosted the folk ensembles from Khelvachauri Culture Center and creative collectives from various regions of Georgia, and the exhibition of the hand craft and paintings. The guests were served with the Lazetian dishes.
