“Since September 1, 2013 the poor family of two pensioners gets 400 GEL of allowance, the allowances for poor doubled last year as for the first so all subsequent members. All family members with lower than 150 GEL salary have been exempted from income taxes and high academic students exempted from the fee for education. Poverty remains the main challenge so I am here to express my solidarity to poor”. Kutaisi Mercy House provides 600 beneficiaries with food on daily basis.
