The Committee heard the candidate for the Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani, nominated by the Political Group “Citizens”.

The candidate introduced his experience in the human rights sphere and his visions concerning the PD institution.

“I had a dream of protecting human rights and it was what I was doing, and thus, I studied the law and became a lawyer. Generally, protection of people is the sphere that I was engaged in prior to coming to politics and I will be happy to have a chance to, on a system basis and from this honorary position – Public Defender – continue this activity”, - he stated.
