Alexander Motserelia, Member of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Republic of Austria, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Georgia, Thomas Mühlmann to focus on the close relations between the two countries and issues of future cooperation.

Particular emphasis was placed on the deepening of relations and future cooperation defined by the Memorandum of Understanding between the Austrian Federal Land of Tyrol and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.

"Tyrol region and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region have recently signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation. It is through this agreement that we have talked about the opportunities that can be used in terms of cooperation between our regions. On my part, I wish to meet with my colleagues and the leadership of the Tyrol region during my next visit to Austria, during which we will discuss the future cooperation between our regions”, - Alexander Motserelia noted after the meeting.
