Meeting of Ana Buchukuri with the representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission

The member of the Parliamentary Political Group “For Georgia”, Ana Buchukuri met with the representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR Needs Assessment Mission. As she stated after the meeting, she informed the guests about the ongoing processes in the country.


“At the meeting, I underlined that the electoral process is already exposed to the manipulations and the manipulations occur not only on the E-day. I explained the difference between the current situation and the period of 2020-2021, including, when it is the case of certain state institutions, some of which have been annulled, while others fell under the subordination of the ruling party. We hold providing ODIHR and other international organizations focusing on the elections with real-time information to keep our international partners updated”, - she stated.


According to her, the discourse included the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence.


“Naturally, all of them understand that ultimately, this Law is associated with the elections to discredit the actors, observing the elections, within and beyond the country”, - she noted.
