
The Vice-Speaker, Archil Talakvadze, accompanied by his colleagues, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Delegation of Montenegro, headed by Gordan Stojović.
The meeting was dedicated to the consideration of a positive dynamic of bilateral relations. The emphasis was placed on the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the enhancement of collaboration. The discourse included the security and territorial integrity of Georgia, the progress on the EU integration path, upcoming Parliamentary Elections and the trade-economic cooperation between the countries.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Georgia-Montenegro Parliamentary Friendship Group, the Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze; and the Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili; as well as the honorary consuls from Georgia and Montenegro - Temur Kurkhuli and Rade Vujačić.
