The Chair of the Parliamentary Council on Protection of the Rights of the Child, Baia Kvitsiani held a meeting with the Chairman of the Austrian Development Agency, Alexander Karner and the representatives of the World Vision and deliberated on the plan developed by the Council in cooperation with the World Vision aiming at the monitoring of the enforcement of the Child Code.

“The ADA supports the WV project, within which, the Council has developed the monitoring plan and indices for the enforcement of the Child Code. The Parliamentary Council and the World Vision, backed by the Austrian Development Agency, undertake the awareness-raising campaigns. The project includes activities that aim to raise awareness of children with disabilities, their support and strengthening”, - B. Kvitsiani noted.

The parties agreed on cooperation prospects in this regard to facilitate better realization of the rights of children and empowerment of their families.
