"Six meetings were conducted in Western Georgia, spanning Kutaisi, Ambrolauri, Ozurgeti, Batumi, Zugdidi, and Mestia. These meetings were incredibly engaging, focusing on the proposed changes. We received full support from the population, with significant interest shown in the details. Simultaneously, we are working on a comprehensive package of legislative amendments to address all these issues. The outcomes of these meetings will be reported to Parliament. Our efforts will persist with meetings in Eastern Georgia. The commission has until May 17 to conclude its work, following which parliamentary procedures will commence", - the Speaker stated.
