Election of David Sergeenko as PABSEC Vice-President

The Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Georgia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, David Sergeenko was unanimously elected as Vice-President of PABSEC for a term of 2 years.

The 57th session of the PABSEC was held in the form of a video conference.

The main topic of the plenary session was: The role of Parliament in the fight against trafficking, political and legal aspects.

D. Sergeenko addressed the delegates of the General Assembly from Georgia through an online platform and expanded on the achievements and challenges in the fight against trafficking in our country.

The MP highlighted the specific steps taken by the Georgian legislature and executive in recent years to address this challenge.

The Assembly received relevant reports and recommendations on this issue.
