The Chair of the European Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili, visited Grigol Robakidze University and signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Committee and the University, the purpose of which is to support the implementation of joint educational, cognitive, training, scientific research and other projects, which will contribute to the European integration process of Georgia.

Maka Botchorishvili dwelt on Georgia's foreign priorities, the process of joining the European Union, and prospects during a meeting with academic staff and students at the university.

She expanded on the dynamics of the implementation of 12 recommendations of the European Union.

The Chair of the Committee also spoke about the activities of the European Integration Committee and its role in the process of integration into the European Union.

"Georgia is a nation with European ideals. Since our nation's identity, history, and culture have long been intertwined with that of Europe, we will do everything in our power to guarantee that Georgia continues to have a respectable position within the European family”, - Maka Botchorishvili commented during the meeting.
