The Chair of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, met with the leadership of the Choreographers’ Union.

The meeting focused on Georgian traditional art and choreography, with particular emphasis on the importance of supporting children’s choreography.

“During the meeting, special attention was paid to the significance of supporting and developing children’s choreography and, in this context, to the necessity of having a Law on Arts Education. The Culture Committee is working on the development of written recommendations for municipalities. We have asked the Choreographers’ Union to share its views on the directions in which children’s ensembles, including municipal ensembles, can be further strengthened,” - Giorgi Gabunia stated following the meeting.
