The First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Giorgi Khelashvili met with the COEST members (Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia) to discuss Georgia's foreign policy priorities, existing challenges, and global policy issues.

The parties dwelt on the security challenges in the region with a particular emphasis on the security challenges in the region amid Russia's aggression in Ukraine and future threats from Russia, including the regional conflicts that are related to Russia's actions.
