Giorgi Volski Held a Meeting with Permanent Representatives to the United Nations

The First Vice Speaker of the Parliament, Giorgi Volski, met with Permanent Representatives to the UN.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in Georgia, as well as in the region and globally.

“Permanent Representatives to the United Nations travel across regions of the world, observe developments on the ground, and form their positions on various issues. At the United Nations, both large and small countries have an equal vote. Therefore, it is important for us that these representatives are aware of the challenges facing our country and understand what the occupation means. The resolution that we submit annually for consideration at the United Nations requires consistent support. During the meeting, we discussed the situation in the region and globally, as well as issues related to securing support from Permanent Representatives at the United Nations”, - stated Giorgi Volski.
