The Chair of the Defense and Security Committee Irakli Beraia held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, H.E. Mark Clayton to discuss the Georgia-Britain relations and the cooperation in the defense sphere.

“Meeting was very interesting; we discussed the regional security environment, steps actively taken by Georgia for the EU and NATO integration; we overviewed the issues related to the cooperation between our countries and further prospects of cooperation, especially in the defense and security sphere”, - I. Beraia stated.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chair, Vladimir Chachibaia.
