The Committee discussed the Draft Law on Funded Pension and the accompanying Bills for the II reading, introduced by the Head of the Capital Market Development and Pension Reform Department of the Economic Ministry, Giorgi Gurgenidze.

He introduced a revised version of the Draft, that has been developed providing the remarks of MPs, the National Bank, and the Pension Agency. As underlined, all beneficiaries remain in the low-risk portfolio till 2028 and with the individual decision of a beneficiary solely the assets may be transferred to average or higher-risk portfolios.

The Committee approved the package.
