Kakha Okrojanashvili and Giorgi Makarashvili Met with Students of Grigol Robakidze University

The Secretary General of the Parliament of Georgia, Kakha Okrojanashvili, and his Deputy, Giorgi Makarashvili, met with students of the School of Public Administration and Policy of Grigol Robakidze University.

The heads of the Parliament’s Administration introduced the students to the fundamental principles of parliamentary activity and the specific features of the work of the parliamentary administration.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the history of parliamentarism in Georgia and the history of the parliamentary building.

The Secretary General of the Parliament highlighted the internship program, within the framework of which representatives of various universities undertake paid internships in the structural units of the legislative body.

In an interactive format, the students received information on topics of interest to them.

“Public participation in parliamentary processes, especially the involvement of young people, is important. There is significant interest on their part both in legislative activities and in the work of the parliamentary administration. We agreed that such meetings will continue in the future,” - Kakha Okrojanashvili stated following the meeting.
