Culture Committee Elaborating on Culture-Related Challenges

Together with the Scientific Advisory Council under the Culture Committee, the Committee considered the culture-related difficulties, and the members of the Council gave the MPs their perspectives on the improvement of the cultural sector.

Guram Odisharia, a writer and public figure, elaborated on the significance of rehabilitating numerous initiatives, particularly regional projects. He spoke about the protection of Georgian cultural sites on the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia's territory, as well as the significance of public diplomacy in maintaining territorial integrity.

Paata Natsvlishvili, an artist, discussed the challenges of memorial monuments and plaques in Georgia, as well as museum-related issues and the absence of tourist attractions in Tbilisi.

The MPs discussed the method for funding culture from the state budget as well as the system for organizing culture in general.

The members of the Council will work thematically and explore various ideas and efforts connected to the difficulties highlighted at today's meeting, according to Eliso Bolkvadze, the Committee's Chair.
