The Culture Committee organized the working meeting to discuss the art education reform, the establishment of the pilot schools at art institutions in 6 cities of the country and the National Art School concept 2021-2027.

The meeting was attended by the Committee members, and representatives of the Education and Science Ministry; Culture, Sports and Youth Ministry; Finance Ministry; and Education and Science Committee.

“The tie one task is to work on the restoration of the status of the art pedagogue and returning of the art pedagogues to schools. The next step will be the creation of a legal basis for the reform”, - the Chair, Eliso Bolkvadze noted.
