The meeting of Levan Ioseliani with the PACE Monitoring Committee

The Member of the Political Group “Citizens”, Levan Ioseliani held a meeting with the PACE Monitoring Committee to discuss the political processes in Georgia, Constitutional changes, the election of the Supreme Court Judges, ethnic minorities, education etc.

“The guests asked about our vision on the mitigation of polarization. As I declared, it requires the Constitutional reform we are agreed on and the threshold for the next elections to be overcome by all political parties to make the Parliament diverse. This is principal for the creation of the third option, for reduction of polarization and to allow the political parties introduce their ideas to the Parliament from the streets”, - L. Ioseliani stated.

He introduced his reason for rejecting the Supreme Court Candidates due to their failure to meet the requirements.

“They also asked about the problems with ethnic minorities and education. We provided the PACE members with detailed information”, - he added.
