The Vice-Speaker, Levan Ioseliani held an introductory meeting with the Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Alexander Vinnikov to discuss the prospects of Georgia and the ongoing political processes in the country regarding the status of EU candidate.

"During the introduction meeting, I shared my perspectives on the country's present political processes as well as judicial reform. We spoke with the Head of the Liaison Office about Georgia's chances of gaining EU candidate status. The meeting also discussed the need of deepening Georgia-NATO ties, emphasizing that multilateral cooperation with the North Atlantic Alliance is critical in view of the challenges Georgia faces as a result of Russian aggression”, - Levan Ioseliani stated.
