The Vice-Speaker, Levan Ioseliani held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan.

The parties discussed the bilateral relations and overviewed the further cooperation prospects.

“The meeting was held with the initiative of the newly appointed Ambassador, where we discussed the ongoing political situation and exchanged our positions. I informed the Ambassador about the political processes in the Parliament and the fulfillment of the 12-point plan. We dwelt on the importance of bilateral relations and further enhancement thereof. I hoped that the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be resolved in a peaceful way, through the negotiations”, - A. Ioseliani stated.
