Members of the Parliamentary Political Group “Citizens”, Levan Ioseliani and Alexander Elisashvili held a meeting with the Ambassador of Germany, H.E. Peter Fischer to deliberate on the fulfillment of the EU recommendations.

The Vice-Speaker, L. Ioseliani informed the Ambassador about the political processes in the country and the vision of the “Citizens” regarding foreign political priorities. The parties touched upon the problems that are related to the realization of the democratic reforms that may impede the country from receiving the EU candidacy.

“The newly appointed Ambassador asked about the political processes in Georgia. I introduce our vision to Ambassador Fischer and overviewed the regional security milieu and the challenges related to the war in Ukraine”, - A. Elisashvili noted.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy, Tanja Hutt.
