
The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili met with the students of the European studies undergraduate educational program of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Caucasus University.
Maka Bochorishvili discussed Georgia's foreign policy aims, the application process for membership in the European Union, and its future prospects during the meeting.
She emphasized Georgia's hopes for and role in ties with the EU, the EU enlargement process, and Georgia’s stance in this regard.
"Georgia now has a realistic chance of entering the EU, which would safeguard our future as Europeans thanks to the historic vote of the EU Council. Georgia has a window of fresh opportunities now, and we have an opportunity to make use of them”, - Maka Botchorishvili noted.
According to her, that is why the Georgian government is doing everything to make Georgia use this historic opportunity. The Chair of the EU Integration Committee spoke about the ongoing reforms on the way to Georgia's accession to the European Union, as well as the existing challenges. The conversation also touched on the activities of the EU Integration Committee and its role in the EU integration process.
