
Within the framework of a working visit to Brussels, the Chair of the European Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili, and the First Deputy Chair of the Committee, Levan Karumidze, held meetings with the Vice-President of the European Parliament, members of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, and representatives of various political groups.
During the meetings, they discussed the prospects of cooperation between the newly elected European Parliament and Georgia, current issues in EU-Georgia relations, ongoing political processes in Georgia, and the challenges and progress facing the country. They also talked about Georgia's significance in the geopolitical context and the prospects for cooperation with the European Union.
The discussions also touched upon the election of the new composition of the European Commission, the formation process of the European Parliament's structures, and priorities for future cooperation.
