Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Mariam Lashkhi, participated in the award ceremony for the winners of the school competition “When I Return to Abkhazia”.
In her address to the event, Mariam Lashkhi spoke about the significance of the competition and noted that the students’ works reflect love for their homeland, a commitment to peace, and faith in a better future.
“It is particularly important that, when thinking about Abkhazia, you speak about return, reunion, mutual understanding, and a shared future. This is a goal that reminds us that Abkhazia is an inseparable part of our common history, culture, and identity, while peace and reconciliation are the path that will bring future generations even closer together”, - Mariam Lashkhi stated.
