Within the framework of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly's U.S. Session, the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation held a meeting with representatives of North Macedonia.

During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of bilateral and multilateral cooperation for ensuring regional peace and security. North Macedonia reaffirmed its full support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and expressed readiness to share its experience along this path.

The North Macedonian delegation also briefed the Georgian side on NATO’s current positions regarding Ukraine, Russia, and broader security challenges.

The Georgian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly includes the Head of Delegation and Chair of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee Givi Mikanadze, Chair of the European Integration Committee Levan Makhashvili, and First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Mariam Lashkhi.
