
The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, participated in the work of the Standing Committee of the OSCE PA.
In his speech, N. Samkharadze dwelt on the security challenges in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region, Russia's aggressive actions, and the importance of the OSCE's role in addressing these challenges.
N. Samkharadze expanded on the grave situation in the occupied territories of Georgia and the significant victory of Georgia over Russia in the Strasbourg court.
He also stressed the importance of a new peace initiative in the South Caucasus region.
"We urge you to take more effective efforts to facilitate the Russian-occupied territories at a time when Russia is annexing, destabilizing, and provocating on a daily basis, as well as grossly violating human rights and abducting individuals”, - N. Samkharadze stated in his speech.
