“With these changes, we want to equalize the opportunity of the people from one bloc and providing the Rules of Procedure, completely use the Parliamentary podium”, - the opposition MP, Paata Manjgaladze stated at the plenary session when introducing the Draft Rules of Procedure with the II reading.
According to the current law, MPs nominated by one and the same political party without a Faction are entitled to set up the political group out of 2 or over MPs but this admission did not apply to the MPs from one and the same political bloc, while the Draft grants this opportunity.
“The Draft initiated by the opposition MPs was discussed by the Committee and approved, and now introduce this admission. The opposition shall take this advantage and apply all the leverage envisaged under the Rules of Procedure and oppose other Parliamentary subjects”, - the First Deputy Chair of the Procedural Committee, Guram Macharashvili.
The Parliament approved the Draft with 82 votes.
