In honor of the memory of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, a banner of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II has been placed on the Parliament building. By decision of the State Commission, chaired by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, banners of the Patriarch will also be displayed on administrative buildings throughout the country.

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, is lying in state at the Holy Trinity Cathedral. The Patriarch will be laid to rest on March 22 at the Sioni Patriarchal Cathedral of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Tbilisi.
