The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mircea Geoană.

The parties deliberated on the NATO-Georgia relations, the developments in the region and further plans. Mr. Geoană affirmed his intact support of the territorial integrity of Georgia.

The Speaker thanked the NATO Deputy Secretary General for his support stating that Georgia intends to maintain the progress at the North-Atlantic integration path.

The Delegation headed by the Speaker is composed of: the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze; the Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Irakli Beraia; and MP Ketevan Turazashvili.
