The Plenary Session of the Parliament commenced with a minute of silence.

"Tamaz Mechiauri, a member of the 4th, 5th, and 8th convocations of the Parliament, passed away recently. He has been the mayor of the municipality for many years, has been involved in politics and parliament for many years, and has made a significant contribution to Georgia's growth of parliamentarism. I'd like to extend my condolences to his family, relatives, and friends on behalf of the Georgian Parliament, and ask that you observe a minute of silence in his honor”, - the Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili addressed the MPs.
