
Georgia has become the PABSEC presiding country for a term of six months. Consequently, the Speaker of Parliament, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, will assume the PABSEC presidency.
Within the framework of the presidency, Georgia shall strive for the enhancement of parliamentary diplomacy and the facilitation of regional connectivity for promoting the middle corridor.
The presidency was assumed at the PABSEC 66th General Assembly held in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the participation of the Parliamentary Delegation, headed by Shalva Papuashvili.
The Delegation is composed of: Irakli Mezurnishvili, First Deputy Chair of the Economic Policy Committee and the Head of the Parliamentary Delegation to PABSEC, and Aluda Gudushauri, the First Deputy Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee.
