Georgian Parliamentary Delegation Meets with NATO Parliamentary Assembly Secretary General

During the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session, the Georgian Parliament's Standing Delegation, led by Givi Mikanadze, held a meeting with the Assembly’s Secretary General Ruxandra Popa and Deputy Secretary General Henrik Bliddal.

The meeting was attended by members of the Georgian delegation to the NATO PA, including Chair of the European Integration Committee Levan Makhashvili and First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Mariam Lashkhi.

The parties discussed the active engagement of Georgia’s standing delegation in the Assembly and reviewed the ongoing political developments in the country.

Members of the Georgian delegation provided the Secretary General with detailed information on Georgia’s progress and the challenges it faces.

Special attention was devoted to exploring further opportunities for deepening the delegation’s participation in the Assembly’s activities.
