Within the framework of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session, held in Dayton, Ohio, USA, the Standing Delegation of the Parliament of Georgia, led by Givi Mikanadze, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Delegation of Hungary.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for enhancing and expanding bilateral parliamentary cooperation, as well as current security challenges within the Euro-Atlantic area.

Special emphasis was placed on Georgia’s progress towards integration into European and Euro-Atlantic institutions.

“Hungary is an important partner for Georgia in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration", - Givi Mikanadze, Head of the Georgian Delegation, stated.

The meeting was attended by members of the Georgian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, including Chair of the European Integration Committee Levan Makhashvili and First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Mariam Lashkhi.
