Georgian Parliamentary Delegation Discussed Georgia–EU relations at the Parliament of Luxembourg

As part of a visit to Luxembourg, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze and Chair of the EU Integration Committee Levan Makhashvili held an expanded-format meeting at the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg.

The meeting was hosted by Gusty Graas, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, and Marc Hansen, Chair of the Defence Committee.

Members of various committees of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg also participated in the expanded-format meeting.

The parties held detailed discussions on the dynamics of Georgia–EU relations over recent years and on future plans for cooperation.

It was emphasized that resetting and revitalizing relations is in the interest of both sides and that the parties will continue their efforts in this direction.

In addition, members of the Georgian and Luxembourgish parliaments reviewed the situation in the regions occupied by Russia, ongoing political, security, and economic developments in Georgia and the Black Sea region, as well as a broad range of bilateral relations.
