
The Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, a member of the EU Integration Committee, Salome Kurasbediani held a meeting with the students of private and public universities.
The students asked about the legal base on environmental protection. The parties overviewed the newly developed Draft Law on Pets.
The questions of the students also concerned the Law on Water Resource Management, in relation to which MP elucidated that the proper management of water resources is imperative for the development of various sectors; besides, it is one of the commitments of the Association Agreement.
The discourse included the aspects of the Waste Management Code and the respective challenges, as well as the development of the squares and recreational areas. The questions were asked about the Draft Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence.
