MP Salome Samadashvili held a meeting with the US Ambassador, H.E. Kelly Degnan.

The parties discussed the political processes in the country and the foreign challenges.

“We widely discussed the challenges we encounter in terms of the domestic and external threats. I introduced our visions of these challenges and heard the assessments of the Ambassador. I believe, our positions fully coincide that today as never, Georgia needs approximation to the Western partners for own security and safety of our citizens”, - S. Samdashvili stated.

Against the current background, when Georgia encounters unprecedented challenges, it is paramount to ensure full coordination and synchronization of our policy with the policy of our main strategic partner – the USA.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Party “Lelo”, Badri Japaridze.
