The Chairman of the Education and Science Committee, Shalva Papuashvili and his First Deputy, Giorgi Amilakhvari met with the Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, H.E. Imamura Akira to discuss the cooperation between Japan and Georgia in various fields, especially in the field of education and science.
"We also talked about the projects of the Japan International Development Agency, which are implemented in the field of education at the primary level of preschool education, as well as the cooperation that exists in terms of teaching Japanese in Georgia. Mr. Ambassador expressed a desire for more intensive cooperation with universities, including Kutaisi International University.
