The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, met with the European Parliamentarians - the Chairperson of the Georgia-EU Association Parliamentary Committee, Marina Kaljurand, and the rapporteur on Georgia, Sven Mikser.

Speaking in-depth on Georgia's progress in putting the European Union's twelve proposals into practice, the Speaker stressed the intensive bilateral cooperation agenda between Georgia and the EU. He also went over the ongoing reforms as part of the EUAA.

The parties also discussed the relationship between the European Parliament and the Georgian Parliament.

Shalva Papuashvili thanked the MEPs for their support of Georgia's European future.
